Coimbatore: Members of the Hindu Munnani (HM) along with BJP cadres lodged a complaint against traffic Ramasamy, charging him of damaging a banner of the BJP.
Following the election results, a banner was put up on the median of a road near Thudiyaloor junction in the city’s suburbs to thank voters, and greet Prime Minister Modi. The banner was installed by BJP and Hindu Munnani members. Traffic Ramasamy who passed the stretch on Monday, picked a quarrel with the traffic police demanding removal of the flex banner. On receiving information from the police BJP cadres and Hindu Munnani members rushed to the spot, and cleared the flex.
