Jagan Mohan Reddy warns team on graft, wants Chandrababu Naidu era files dug up

Stating that corruption would not be tolerated, Mr Reddy said that he would not hesitate to remove any minister who faced graft charges.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy chaired a marathon first meeting of the Cabinet and sternly warned his Cabinet colleagues against indulging in corruption.

Stating that corruption would not be tolerated, Mr Reddy said that he would not hesitate to remove any minister who faced graft charges. “There is no guarantee that ministers will be there for two-and-a-half years,” said Mr Reddy, in a reference to his plan to retain his Cabinet for the first half of his term.

He asked the ministers to dig out the scams and irregularities that took place during the Chandrababu Naidu regime.
