Tribals in Telangana seek jobs in agency areas
UTNOOR (ADILABAD): The Adivasi Nirudyoga Sangham (ANS) on Sunday requested the government to appoint jobless Adivasis for vacant positions in agency areas as per GO 3.
After the election of a new ANS committee, its former president Kumra Sai Krishna said Adivasi youth must be given first priority in filling up the jobs in the 29 departments.
The ANS is planning to organise a rally from Kumaram Bheem complex to ITDA building at Utnoor on June 11.
Mr Sai Krishna also asked ITDA to provide coaching for selected Adivasi youth for groups and civil services entra-nces in prestigious institutions.
He said many educated and qualified Adivasi youth have remained jobless while non-tribals and Lambadas are being recruited for all jobs in the agency areas.
Madavi Dattu of Utnoor was elected as the new ANS president, Madavi Rajinikanth, Kanaka Bhujangarao as vice-presidents, and Vedma Bojju as the honorary president.
