Kozhikode: Teacher helps 2 students write Plus II, under watch
KOZHIKODE: The education department has registered the statement of a teacher who helped two students to entirely write the ‘Plus Two’ examination at the Government Higher Secondary School, Neele-swaram, Mukkam, near here.
Both the teacher Nishad V. Muhammed and the principal of the school were summoned by the Higher Secondary directorate, Thiruvanantha-puram the other day after the duplication came to light.
The issue came to light after other students complained to their parents about the incident.
A police investigation also is underway on the charges of entirely writing the examination of two students and also tampering with the results of Computer Application examination of 32 students.
Though there was an allegation that there was a collective decision by teachers to help poor students in the examination to ensure cent per cent result, other teachers and principal had dismissed it as baseless.
Additional deputy chief of the examination, Nishad has been serving in the school for the last 10 years. The education department had earlier suspended Nishad V. Muhammed, examination chief superintendent K. Razia and examination deputy chief P.K. Faisal, teacher of another school recently.
