Thiruvananthapuram: Save A Year (SAY) and improvement examinations of the higher secondary will be held from June 5 to 12. Last date for submitting applications for the same is May 16. SAY practical examinations will be conducted on May 28. Plus II classes will begin on June 1. Those who appeared for the higher secondary examinations and failed to obtain the eligibility for higher studies can appear in the examinations and obtain necessary grades (D+ and above) needed for higher studies.
Old syllabus candidates, who remained ineligible in more than one subjects, cannot apply for SAY examinations. Those who have obtained the eligibility for higher studies but still want to improve their grades can appear for one subject at the improvement examination. Application for revaluation, photocopy and scrutiny of all subjects except Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can be submitted till May 15.
