CM Chandrasekhar Rao surprises marriage party, blesses newly-wedded couple

Hyderabad: A couple received a surprise, and unforgettable, gift on their wedding on Thursday, in the form of an unexpected visit by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Mr Rao was travelling from Karimnagar to Huzurabad in a bus for the launch of the Rythu Bandhu scheme, when he noticed the wedding being celebrated in Tadikal village of Shankarapatnam mandal.

Mr Rao ordered the bus stopped, and walked down to the marriage hall. Even as onlookers were getting over their surprise, and security personnel went into a tizzy, Mr Rao went up to the dais and blessed the newly wedded couple, Kavya and Manohar. Mr Rao assured them of providing financial assistance through the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme. The overwhelmed family thanked Mr Rao and finance minister Etela Rajendar who accompanied the CM for the gesture.
