Road mishap: Nishith Narayana, Ravichandra not drunk, says forensic

The liver and lungs of both were crushed, and ribs broken. “There was no trace of alcohol in their bodies.â€

Hyderabad: Forensic experts who conducted the autopsy on the bodies of Nishith Narayana and Kamani Raja Ravichandra said the two were not drunk at the time of the accident.

A team of experts from department of forensic medicine of the Osmania Hospital and Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research conducted autopsy on the bodies at the Apollo Hospital mortuary in Jubilee Hills.

Dr G. Surender Reddy, professor, forensic medicine, Apollo Hospitals, said Nitish and Ravichandra died due to multiple fractures and severe injuries which caused heavy internal bleeding. The steering wheel of the vehicle crushed the sternum (long flat bone in the centre of the chest) of Nishith.
