Hyderabad: Traffic advisory issued for CM KCR's Dawat-e-Iftar on Wednesday

Moderate traffic congestion is expected on the roads around LB Stadium during the programme

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory, advising motorists to avoid the stretch from AR petrol pump to the Babu Jagjivan Ram statue and Basheerbagh between 5 pm and 9 pm on Wednesday, in view of the Iftar dawat being hosted by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Moderate traffic congestion is expected on the roads around LB Stadium and traffic will be stopped or diverted on a need basis during the programme, police said.

Traffic from Chapel road, Nampally, towards BJR statue will be diverted at AR petrol pump towards the Police Control Room.

Vehicles from SBI Gunfoundry towards Press Club and Basheerbagh flyover will be diverted towards Chapel road.

Traffic from Ravindra Bharathi and Hill Fort road towards BJR statue will be diverted towards Sujatha High School at KLK Building, Fateh Maidan.

Traffic from Basheerbagh flyover will not be allowed to take right turn at BJR statue and will proceed up to SBI Gunfoundry and then towards Chapel road.

Traffic from Old MLA Quarters towards Basheerbagh will be diverted towards Himayatnagar Y-junction. Traffic coming from King Koti and Boggulakunta to Basheerbagh via Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will be diverted at King Koti crossroads towards Taj Mahal hotel or Eden Garden.

Traffic from Basheerbagh towards the Police Control Room will be diverted at Basheerbagh towards Liberty junction.
