Warangal: Red carpet for voters in 7 model PCs
Warangal: The district administration is laying out the red carpet for voters at the polling centres in Warangal. The officials have prepared model polling booths and decorated them with colourful balloons, selfie points etc. Assistant Returning Officer N. Ravi Kiran said the first five voters who visit these polling stations would be welcomed with garlands and a rose each. These stations are also provided with wheelchairs.
Mr Ravi Kiran said the polling booth number 143 in Platinum Jubilee High school in Abbanikunta has been designed as Sakhi polling booth which is entirely managed by female staff.
Similarly, polling booth No. 33 in SR Junior College, Pochamma Maidan has been designed as a model polling booth.
The polling booth No. 173 in Koutilya School in Kareembad has been designed as a PWD model polling station and has all the facilities for persons with disabilities. Seven such model stations have been arranged across the constituency.
