KSRTC to move SC against High Court order
The High Court had on Monday directed the KSRTC to relieve empanelled drivers who are continuing in service beyond 180 days.
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has decided to appeal to the Supreme Court against the High Court order dismissing empanelled drivers.
The corporation will inform the apex court that the High Court order will affect the daily activities of the KSRTC as over 600 services will have to be cancelled.
The facts will be presented before the Supreme Court, said Transport Minister A.K. Saseendran after meeting transport secretary K.R. Jyothilal and KSRTC Managaing Director M.P. Dinesh.
