Four held for DMK worker's murder

Four other suspects had already surrendered before a Court in Katpadi and have been lodged in Vellore prison.

Chennai: The Kancheepuram police, on Monday, arrested as many as four persons, including 3 juveniles, in connection with the murder of a DMK worker reported on April 6. Four other suspects had already surrendered before a Court in Katpadi and have been lodged in Vellore prison.

The arrested adult was identified as Navin (22), a resident of Pallavarmedu near Kancheepuram and three minor boys, all aged 17, were picked up in connection with the murder of Saravanan, who was intercepted in front of his house and hacked to death on April 6. Four persons - Prabhakaran, Gokul, Karthik, and 'Kaaka' Suresh - are those who surrendered before a Magistrate Court in Katpadi.
