BENGALURU: Former chief minister S.M. Krishna on Saturday visited Mallya Hospital to check on the health status of Lokayukta Justice Vishwanatha Shetty, who was stabbed at his office in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The Lokayukta is under observation in the hospital ICU and his health condition is being closely monitored.
After meeting the Lokayukta, Mr Krishna said, “With God’s grace Shetty is doing well and is out of danger. This issue should be investigated properly and necessary action be taken.” I spoke to him for couple of minutes. He had tea in the morning and lunch also. I wish him speedy recovery, Krishna added.
He also added that state should tighten security and observed that no one could have even imagined that such an incident would take place. “I strongly condemn this act,” he said.
