Kakinada: The Kapu leaders in Telugu Desam have decided to ignore Kapunadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham with his frequent threats of agitation having no definite purpose.
The party leaders have decided to adopt this strategy as they consider him a ‘failed leader.’ “There was no reason for Deeksha announced by Mudragada despite the CM has taken steps for fulfilling his promises made for Kapus by appointing a commission and sanctioning funds for Kapu Development Corpo-ration,” said deputy chief minister N. China Rajappa.
“We don't consider him as a Kapu leader. He is an inefficient leader and has no knowledge on the issues. We don't want to discuss with him any issues. The TD would not encourage him,” said TD district chief P. Veera Venkata Satyanarayana (Chittibabu). He asked why Mudr-agada had announced a Deeksha again and withdrew it on Thursday.
He said that due to lack of support from the Kapu community, he withdrew his agitation', he said. ZP Chairman Namana Rambabu said that CM was fulfilling all his promises and committed to uplift the community.
