Bengaluru: Home Minister Dr G. Parameshwar said Crime Investigation Department (CID) has collected some clues pertaining to assassination of noted Kannada litterateur Dr M.M. Kalburgi in Dharwad last year.
He told reporters here on Thursday that the CID sleuths have found out that there was similarity in the bullets used by assassins to kill Dr Kalburgi with that of Govind Pansare and Narendra Dabholkar. The government has taken the incident seriously and constituted special police teams to arrest the culprits. There had been delay in investigation due to absence of any evidences to trace out the assailants. “We will certainly nab the culprits at the earliest,” he said.
