Chandrababu Naidu reprimands officials
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu warned the state government functionaries of dire consequences for not attending the review meetings as well as for late-coming on Wednesday. The meeting was held to review ongoing works under MNREGA and other development works in the state with the Cabinet ministers, collectors of the 13 districts and other officials by Mr Naidu, through a video conference. Mr Naidu directed the officials to come at least 15 minutes before the starting of review meeting from next time.
The Chief Minister stated that he would take attendance of the officials from the next meeting during the first 15 minutes. He explained that they have been organising at least three hours review meetings to solve the problems and boost the development activities. So, every officer must attend the review meetings, he said. He took the attendance of the officials, includingthose of Tinamakkur, Gorantla in Anantapur district, Gudipalli and Kuppam in Chittoor distirct.
When he named some of the officials from various mandals in Kadapa, East Godavari, West Godavari and Guntur districts, it came to be known that they did not attend the meeting. Then the Chief Minister warned the officials that they should attend all video conferences and review meetings without fail.
