MP Arvind seeks passport office at Jagtial

Nizamabad: Nizamabad MP Arvind Dharmapuri urged the Central government to set up a Regional Passport Office (RPO) at Jagtial district headquarters under the Nizamabad parliamentary constituency.

In a letter to external affairs minister S. Jaishankar, he stated that the people from the district going to Gulf countries for employment and other needs were facing a lot of problems due to the absence of RPO in Jagtial and forced to visit either Nizamabad or Karimnagar RPOs to get passports, at the cost of time and money.

The establishment of RPO at Jagtial will significantly avoid inconvenience and provide timely access to passport and other government services to the people, especially Gulf migrants from here, he noted.
