ADILABAD: Agitating Adivasis will follow the ‘Telangana agitation model’ to intensify their demand for the removal of the Lambadas from the ST list.
The new form of agitation is scheduled to start from January 17 and is likely to continue up to April.
Like the ‘Telangana agitation model’, the Adivasis will also organise vanta varpu on ro-ads, relay hunger strikes, Adivasi Dhoom Dham, submit memos to Ambedkar statue, pala-bhishekam to Kumar-ambheem statue, etc.
They also plan to block the NH-44 and do a rail roko and would try to get the support of Dalits and non-tribals.
