No advance booking of rooms in Tirumala from Jan 11 to 14
TIRUPATI: In view of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi festivals on January 13 and 14, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has cancelled advance reservations for all rooms at Tirumala from January 11 to 14.
The TTD management released a circular on Thursday, stating that the decision was taken as part of its commitment to prioritise common devotees in Tirumala and enable them to book rooms on a first-come, first-served basis.
There would be no room allotments at MBC-34, Kousthubham rest house and TBC and ARP counters from 12.01 AM of January 11, 2022 till midnight of January 14. The TTD stated that donors shall also not claim special allotment for rooms during the above-mentioned period.
TTD said that all VIPs coming for Srivari Darshan will be allotted rooms at special counters set up in Venkatakala Nilayam, Ramaraja Nilayam, Sita Nilayam, Sannidhanam and Govind Sai rest houses, while all common devotees will be allocated rooms through the general CRO counters. The temple body also mentioned that if VIP devotees arrive personally, only two rooms will be allocated to them.
