Hyderabad: A student and his sister, who were returning home on a bike late on Saturday night, sustained injuries when another biker rammed into them near Malakpet crossroads.
A complaint was received from Mohammed Faizan Mehdi, 25, a student from Phisalbanda of Santoshnagar, stating that on Saturday night at around 9.30 pm, when he and his elder sister, Taheniyat Kousar, 26, were travelling on his bike near Malakpet crossroads, a biker suddenly hit their vehicle from the rear.
“In the accident, his sister fell on the road and sustained bleeding injuries, following which she was shifted to a private hospital for treatment,” said the police, adding that based on a complaint, a case was booked under Section 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of IPC and an investigation was started.
