GE appliances ties up with Telangana for new hub

Hyderabad: GE Appliances First Build has signed an agreement with Telangana government to establish First Build India hub at T-Works. The agreement was signed in presence of IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday.

First Build India proposes to focus on IoT (internet of things) and business processes in appliances and manufacturing, and looks to engage with T-Works and maker community in knowledge sharing, skills development and community open-platform innovation. First Build, based out of Kentucky (US) is a global creation community that harnesses the brainpower of the make movement to change the way major home appliances are conceived, designed and manufactured.
