K Chandrasekhar Rao has good word for Transco boss
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday said that water from Mission Bhagiratha will reach 98 per cent of the villages in the next 45 days. Mr. Rao added, “We have improved tremendously with regard to the power situation in the state. From the New Year, i.e. January 1, 2018, we will be supplying 24x7 hours quality power to the agriculture sector. Henceforth, we will also provide 24x7 quality power to all sectors.”
“As on date, 3,000 MW solar power is generated and by another month and a half, 500 MW more will be added. The arrangements made by the power department for supplying adequate power to the lift irrigation projects and Mission Bhagiratha are commendable. The power department is completing the work one month ahead of schedule. Transco and Genco CMD D. Prabhakar Rao and other officials are working hard to get benefits to the state. I convey my special thanks and congratulations to the power department. I am satisfied with the work being done by them”, the CM said.
Mr Prabhakar Rao said, “For the lift irrigation projects we have kept ready 400 KV lines. We made arrangements to supply power not only from one generation centre but from multiple ones. We will supply uninterrupted power to the lift irrigation projects and Mission Bhagiratha.”
