Bangalore Development Authority makes hash of master plan

If the Revised Master Plan 2031, prepared by the Bangalore Development Authority is to be believed, the city will be unliveable by then.

Bengaluru: Two crore population, 13,000 tonnes of garbage a day and no drinking water... is this the bleak future Bengaluru will face 13 years down the line? If the Revised Master Plan 2031, prepared by the Bangalore Development Authority is to be believed, the city will be unliveable by then.

But experts, who slammed the BDA for preparing the document without proper consultation with citizens, said that the data dished out is unscientific, with Nitin Seshadri, president, Koramangala 3rd Block Resident Welfare Association, going to the extent of saying that the BDA neither know the statistics nor the mathematics.
