Hyderabad: ISIS operative Abu Isa al-Amriki, a foreigner who was killed in an air strike in Syria, has been identified by the NIA as the recruiter and handler of five Hyderabadi youth. The NIA will name Amriki in the chargesheet of the Hyderabad module of ISIS.
The NIA had arrested Ilyas Yazdani of Talabkatta; Ibrahim Yazdani of Chatta Bazaar; Habeeb Mohammed of Gulshan Colony; Abdulla bin Al Ahmed Amoodi of Charminar and Mohammed Irfan of Mir Alam Mandi.
The NIA said Ibrahim Yazdani while working in Saudi Arabia came in contact with a Jordanian who motivated him to join the ISIS. He then came in touch with Amriki.
