KCR\'s anscestral village donates funds to help Revanth in Kamareddy

The villagers of Konapur, Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao's ancestral village, contributed funds to help TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy file his nomination in Kamareddy. The villagers themselves said that they were pooling money to oust KCR in the Kamareddy elections.

This gesture of protest should ring bells to the BRS party, ahead of the elections. The revolt from KCR's ancestral village shows the severe resentment against the ruling dispensation in the state. Meanwhile, the Congress is riding high following the victory in neighbouring Karnataka.

The party leaders are also trying to exhibit unity among themselves, which the party chiefs believe would help them clinch power this time. Even the creative ad campaign by the Congress has also been a hit on the social media platforms.
