CBI learns the Art of Living!

The 3-day workshop through the AoL's Synergy programme has been tailored to CBI needs.

Bengaluru: Evil eye? Negative forces at work? Either way, India's premier investigating agency - the CBI, in the news for all the wrong reasons over its top two officers, Director Alok Verma and Special Director Rakesh Asthana, facing corruption charges being sent on leave pending inquiry, is making a very unusual course correction. Taking a path to self-healing.

On Saturday, the ace investigators of CBI - over 150 officers from the rank of inspectors to the in- charge director Nageshwar Rao will attend a three day workshop with Bengaluru based spiritual guru, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's Art of Living Foundation to "build synergy, competence and positive outlook." The purpose of the workshop with AoL's Synergy Programme, is to "improve positivity, enhance synergy and generate a healthy atmosphere in the agency and motivate the staff to achieve their full potential," said the CBI spokesperson.

"The decision to conduct the workshop came from the Bureau,” a CBI official said.

The 3-day workshop through the AoL’s Synergy programme has been tailored to CBI needs, and will comprise breathing techniques, Sudarshan Kriya, meditation and yoga.
