Shootout: 2 acquitted
The High Court on Thursday acquitted two people in a shootout case, which dates back to 1990! The court acquitted Ashok, an owner of Foto Flash shop and Ateeq Ibrahim, an employee of the shop.

The prime accused Ashok was accused of murder by shooting a person on February 11, 1990 in front of Safina Plaza, near Commercial Street Police Station.

The lower court had acquitted them on the ground that the prime accused open fired from his gun for self defence and not with an intention to kill the victim. The High Court has upheld the acquittal the two.
