Telangana: Officials hunt new sites for logistic parks

Hyderabad: With minister K.T. Rama Rao announcing government’s intentions to establish dozens of logistics parks in the state capital in the coming years, officials have got down to the business of scouting for new locations from four corners of the city.

The officials are going through records to identify vacant land availability at different places and checking the possibility to acquire more land if needed.

The Master Plan-2031 of HMDA has earmarked a few places like Aushapur, Edulabad (Ghatkesar mandal), Koheda (Hayatnagar mandal), Somaram, Munirabad (Medchal), Rudrawaram (Patancheru mandal), Kollur (Ramachandrapuram mandal), Hamidullahnagar, Kottaguda and Golapalli Kalan, Fatehpur and Timmapur for establishing logistic infrastructure.
