Hyderabad Metro Rail trial run soon till Begumpet
Hyderabad: The HMR will be conducting the Mettuguda to Begumpet trial run as the electric wiring energisation has been completed. Engineers, after inspection, have allowed trial runs which will start soon.
A senior engineer from the Government of India inspected the complete overhead electric traction and the incoming electric feed. This step will now allow Metro train designs to be tested and issue satisfactory certificates so that the trial runs can start.
Mr Shivanand Nimbargi, managing director of L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited explained, “The completion of electric testing will allow us to move ahead and conduct the other statutory tests before we commence the trail runs. We are going to bring the services of Metro Rail to the people at the earliest.”
Metro rail from Nagole to Ameerpet and Miyapur to Ameerpet are announced to be starting from November. The L&T Metro Rail is carrying out all the finishing works from Paradise to Ameerpet station areas.
