Is fresh H D Kumaraswamy health scare behind Soudha public ban?
Bengaluru: Is all well with CM H.D. Kumaraswamy? Sources said that the CM had faced major health complications when he was at work in his Vidhana Soudha office last week with the developments kept secret as the media was kept out of the CM's office both at Vidhana Soudha and his home office, Krishna. On the advice of his family and senior JD(S) leaders, the CM has now issued a oral order to party workers not to disturb him or his colleagues at the Vidhana Soudha.
Is all well with Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy who has a history of cardiac problems and had undergone open heart surgery about a year ago? There are enough indications that the Chief Minister is looking for some rest amidst his hectic schedule with Mr Kumaraswamy himself issuing a directive to Janata Dal (Secular) leaders and workers not to throng Vidhana Soudha and disturb officials and ministers.
Sources in the JD (S) confided that the Chief Minister aims to achieve two objectives with this— he seems anxious about his health and two, he would like to sent a message to Congress workers too, who throng Vidhana Soudha, not to disturb ministers preoccupied with their work. Sources said that Mr Kumaraswamy had in fact faced major health complications last week or early this week when he was at work in his Vidhana Soudha office.
However, the development was kept secret with the media kept out of the CM’s office (CMO) both in Vidhana Soudha and at his home office, Krishna. Perhaps on the advice of his family and senior JD(S) leaders, Mr Kumaraswamy issued a oral order to party workers not to disturb him or his colleagues in Vidhana Soudha, said the sources. Meanwhile, JD (S) supremo, H.D. Deve Gowda, after taking stock of his son’s health, reportedly suggested that since the party had a new office near the Majestic area in the city, JD (S) ministers should spend half a day in a week there to meet the public. He reportedly suggested that JD (S) ministers should hold Janata Darshan-type darbars to hear grievances of people which would also ease the pressure on the Chief Minister.
