Hyderabad: A 16-year-old Intermediate student committed suicide in her hostel room on Wednesday afternoon. P. Shravya, daughter of Venkatesham, resident of Valigonda of Yadadri district, was studying intermediate first year at Narayana College in Thattiannaram. According to police, she returned on Wednesday from seven day vacation.
“The girl committed suicide by hanging at her hostel room in the Narayana College campus. Fellow students who noticed her informed the warden who called in the plumbers to get her down. She was rushed to Supraja Hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead,” said the sub inspector of Hayathnagar police.
Police domestic issues with family for the drastic step. Police booked a case under section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC (code of criminal conduct).
