A slow traffic movement was witnessed near Lakdikapool, RTC X Road, Ramanthapur and Shivam Road towards Amberpet 6 No Junction. Commuters coming from Begumpet and Panjagutta had to spend minimum 30 to 40 minutes to reach Secunderabad.

Commuters passing through areas like Nirankari Bhavan, Iqbal Minar, Naraya-nguda flyover, Malakpet Chermas towards Nalgonda X Road, Chader-ghat and Fateh Nagar towards Balkampet Temple were also stuck in the traffic block.

Uma Mahesh Mudigonda, a resident said, “The authorities have chosen a worse time to convert the busiest road into a model road. A 7-km ride to office took 100 minutes because of waterlogging between IIIT and Gopichand Academy.” “A 5-10 minute ride from Osmania University to Koti took around 20 to 30 minutes,” said Mr Surrender Thallapelly, a commuter.
