Hyderabad: Lake Police stopped five people from committing suicide near Tank Bund in the past one week. They were identified as G. Jaya Laxmi, Arundhati, S. Lavanya and her two children.
On Tuesday evening, G. Jaya Laxmi, 30, from Rasoolpura, tried to commit suicide because of torture from her husband.
On August 2, a beautician tried to end her life because her elder son was quarrelling with her.
“On Tuesday night S. Lavanya, 32, a housewife, quarrelled with her husband and tried to end her life” said the police inspector of Lake Police, Ch. Babu.
