Hyderabad: After the Hyderabad School Parents Associations demanded a meeting with the full committee of the Prof. Tirupathi Rao committee on fee regulation, all committee members will meet in about a week’s time.
The committee stated that it was working with the Centre for Good Governance to enable e-submission of fee structures and financial details by schools to the government. The draft format and web portal was ready and it was expected to be formally launched in a week or two.
Multiple meetings had been held with school management associations and they had agreed to cooperate with the government and committee on the matter, the committee stated. The hard copies for authenticity of the data submitted on the portal are to be submitted to the respective DEOs.
Mr Ashish Naredi, HSPA representative, said, “Several schools in the previous meetings have said that they do not have books of accounts. We have to see how many schools actually comply with the directive and how’’.
