Hyderabad: Court acquits 10 accused in Task Force Office blast case

The court pronounced its verdict on Thursday after prosecution failed to prove the charges levelled against the accused people.

Hyderabad: The Nampally court acquitted all the ten suspects against whom a chargesheet was filed by Hyderabad City Police in connection with the human bomb blast at Old Task Force Office in 2005 on a Dusserah day.

The court pronounced its verdict on Thursday after the prosecution failed to prove the charges levelled against the accused people.

In less than two months this is the second judgement including the one of the attack case on MLA Akbaruddin, where police failed to prove the charges.

The judgement comes as a major relief to the families of the people, who were arrested and have been in prison for about 12 years.

While cops are yet to decide to appeal this verdict in a higher court, the counsel of the accused people also said that after reading the judgement copy, they will decide on approaching a higher court for illegally detaining them in this period without any evidences.
