Hyderabad: The Metro Water Board, to shame defaulters, has pasted posters on top defaulters on their premises informing them of the money they owe.
The board on Tuesday disconnected 70 commercial water supply connections as it tried to get consumers to pay up dues. Among those whose water lines were cut included Saroornagar indoor stadium (due Rs 6.96 lakh), APCPDCL, Autonagar (Rs 2,14 lakh), PWD workshop, Mint Compound (Rs 2 lakh), Venkateshwara Phar-ma, Nacharam (Rs 1.65 lakh).
GE Works, IDA, Nacharam (Rs 1.50 lakh) and Dairy Farm, Nacharam (Rs 1 lakh). Board officers said the drive would continue, and asked defaulters to pay up.
