Telangana Assembly Speaker Madhusudana Chary has a narrow escape

Warangal: TS Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudana Chary had a narrow escape from a road mishap on Saturday while travelling from Ghanpur village to Bhupalapalli in Jayashankar Bhupalapalli district.

The incident took place at Ghanpur Lake when two trucks carrying pipelines for the Devadula project works came speeding from the opposite direction. The truck in the front lost control and came towards the convoy. The road was not wide enough for the vehicles in the convoy to evade the truck. However, the local police vehicle, the pilot vehicle and the Speaker’s vehicle managed to swerve past it. The road got too narrow for the escort vehicle behind to pass and the driver turned the vehicle off the road into the bushes and came to a stop.
