Tamil Nadu: Villagers stumble upon three idols in river

TIRUVARUR: A group of villagers stumbled upon three deities sculpted in blue metal (stone) at Vettar river at Ettiyalur village near Kudavasal In Tiruvarur district on Friday. People of the village placed the deities of Lord Dakshinamoorthy, Vishnu and Brahma at a public place in their hamlet and have begun worshipping them, official sources said. Kudavasal police have registered a case and probe is on.
