AIBE results to be delayed till June 15
Meanwhile, candidates who cleared the exam last year have just received their certificates.

HYDERABAD: The announcement of results of the 10th All India Bar Council (AIBE) has been postponed to June 15. Meanwhile, candidates who cleared the exam last year have just received their certificates.
Sangeetha Sivan, a lawyer, said, “My exam was held in the April 2016, and my certificate was issued only in 2017. This delay is very common. Even the exams are often postponed and conducted up to a month after the date that is initially announced. After graduating from law school, we make do with a provisional certificate that is valid for two years. However, not having the original certificate definitely poses a hindrance to our practice.”
The AIBE grants an advocate a Certificate of Enrollment, which permits him or her to practice in a High Court or any lower court. Since 2019, the exam has been conducted annually in 40 cities across the nation. Results will be available on the official website, www.allindiabarexamination.com.
