Hyderabad: The Early Bird scheme for property tax payers has netted the GHMC Rs 20.52 crore from April 1. This is more than 10 times the tax collected in the same period last year. Those paying tax under the scheme get a 5 per cent discount. The GHMC got Rs1.25 crore from trade licence fee — six times than the Rs 26 lakh collected in the first eight days of April last year.
