BELAGAVI: The recent suicide of a woman employee of District Institute of Educational and Training (DIET) in Belagavi has taken a new twist with the recovery of a death note at her house.
Soon after Sunita Gujahat (30) hanged herself at her house at Vaibhav Nagar on April 2. Since her husband had died recently, her family thought that she took the extreme step due to depression.
Sunita had joined DIET at Mannur after she was offered a job by the government on compassionate grounds following her husband’s death. However, her father has now recovered a death note, reportedly written by Sunita, accusing the DIET Principal of harassment.
