Warangal: To showcase the creativity and innovative skills of engineering students, SR Engineering College in Warangal held a mega innovation expo called ‘Abhivyakta-2019.’ The expo allows budding engineering students to showcase their innovations.
Manoj Kaushal, innovative manager and idea coach from Cyient and N. Vinod, UX designer, Agrometrics highlighted the role of engineers and their future job prospects that can be enhanced through problem solving abilities.
Mr Manoj applauded the efforts of the institute in integrating engineering and design aspect into the minds of students. He shared his experiences and example regarding passion, innovation, entrepreneurship and eagerness to learn and explore. Mr Manoj narrated a story of a shopkeeper showcased his entrepreneurial skills and problem solving abilities to help a customer find an alternative and best possible solution to satisfy his needs.
About 63 products were selected to be showcased. The jury will evaluate, and winners will be awarded a total cash prize of '1, 00, 000 to further develop their ideas.
