Tamil Nadu: CBSE plus-2 exams begin with easy English paper

Over 19 lakh students all over the country are writing class 10 and 12 board exams this year.

CHENNAI: The Central Board of Secondary Education class 12 exams have begun on an easy note as many students termed the English exam as very easy. Over 19 lakh students all over the country are writing class 10 and 12 board exams this year. In Chennai region, 59,014 students are appearing for class 12 and 1.54 lakh students are appearing for class 10 exams. The class 12 students started their board exam with English Elective and English Core exam on Thursday.

Many students said the English paper this year was simple and easy. An English teacher from the city school said, “Most of the questions are common questions and there was no deviation from the pattern given. We found English exam paper very simple in terms of questions asked in grammar, writing skills.”

The next exam for the science stream students is physics on March 15. For class 10 students, the board exam started with subjects like dynamics of retailing, information technology, automobile technology on Thursday.
