KSU makes indirect dig at A. K. Antony's son

The resolution said that it was the responsibility of the student and the youth bodies to put an end to such imports.

KOCHI: Kerala Students Union (KSU), a feeder outfit of the Congress party, has made a scathing attack on leaders trying to foist kith and kin in critical positions.

The organisational resolution moved in the Ernakulam district conference on Saturday asks the KSU workers to resist the culture of "inheritance politics".

In an indirect reference to the senior leader A.K. Antony's son Anil K. Antony heading the social media cell, it said the ascent of 'cyber imports' to key positions is creating "serious anxiety" on the minds of "actual workers" strengthening the party by pasting posters, organising protests and facing the wrath of police.

The resolution said that it was the responsibility of the student and the youth bodies to put an end to such imports.

"Each KSU worker should ask the question -- You too become blind by the love of your son - to every senior Congress leaders," it says.

The resolution also lambasted leaders monopolising assembly and parliamentary seats as if inherited properties.

They are giving an opportunity for three or four generations of people to vote for the same person, it says.
