Chennai: The producers and the director of the Kollywood film Podhu Nalan Karuthi on Saturday filed a complaint against its hero, actor Karunakaran who gained fame famous for his roles in films like Jigarthanda, Pizza, Iravivi and Yamirukka Bayamyen.
According to sources, the producers and director of the film have officially filed a complaint with the city police commissioner A.K.Vishwanthan on Saturday stating that the actor had threatened to murder them when they questioned him about his absence from the film's promotional events.
They also released an audiotape as proof, in which Karunakaran is heard abusing the director, and threatening to kill the producers of the film.
Podhu Nalan Karudhi hit the screens on February 8, alongside Dhilluku Dhuddu 2.
The movie is produced by AVR productions and directed by Zion.
