Hyderabad: A prepaid auto service will soon start from the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Stand and Jubilee Bus Station.
The Telangana government has issued orders approving operation of prepaid autos from the two major bus stands.
The fares fixed by the government may not be very attractive to commuters as cab services are available for a little more.
Transport secretary Mr Sunil Sharma said the rate chart of autorickshaws had been approved tentatively and it would be revised by the core committee or the governing body that would be formed in this regard with representatives from auto unions, traffic police, commuters and TS Road Transport Corporation.
The list of places would be prepared by the traffic police, which will be subject to revision depending up complaints, if any.
