Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s comment: “SC lo puttalani evaru korukuntaru? (Who would wish to be born in the SC community?)” drew flak from the Opposition parties on Tuesday.
Mr Naidu had made the comments on Monday while criticising caste politics. A complaint has been filed with the Tangutur police station of Prakasam district against Mr Naidu by Dalits who alleged that the comments attracted sections of the SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Act.

AP Congress chief N. Raghuveera Reddy said that in his next life he wanted to be born an SC and added that Mr Naidu’s comments were atrocious.
