Hyderabad: VHP members have distributed Sri Rama akshatas to about 12,000 delegates from 139 countries to commemorate consecration of Ram idol in Ayodhya on January 22.
A VHP release said here on Wednesday “Representatives of many countries said that there was a need to extol the ideals of Ram to the world, which also needs Ram rajya. The parishad’s state organizing secretary Yadireddy performed kalash puja in the presence of vedic scholars before distributing akshatas to representatives of various countries.”
