When contacted, a state-level leader of YSRC said that he was preparing to take up a padayatra in the constituency. However, he would only be able to announce it once the logistics and other paraphernalia were fixed, he said.
An aspirant from Nandyal constituency also echoed a similar sentiment. He said, “I am in Itchapuram right now. Once I go back to my constituency, I would like to inform my cadre about my desire to undertake a Padayatra within the constituency. Based on their feedback, I will plan my schedule,” he said.
However, aspirants from the Panyam and Nandyal constituencies are likely to launch constituency padayatras in the run-up to the next general elections....
