Vijayawada: Coinciding with the culmination of YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra, the makers of the film Yatra, that chronicles the padayatra of late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy’s Praja Prasthanam, released the trailer on Monday.
The two-minute trailer almost immediately become a hit on the internet with lakhs of views and likes. Dr Rajasekhar Reddy had walked 1,475 km aross undivided Andhra Pradesh in 2003 and the padayatra is seen as having propelled him to power.
The movie depicts the circumstances that prompted Dr Rajasekhar Reddy to take out a padayatra and to know the woes of the common man. Rajasekhar Reddy had, in many instances, acknowledged that his padayatra had brought a lot of changes in him as a person.
