Ongole: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that rapid industrialisation plans of Andhra Pradesh will get a push with the help of Ramayapatnam Port in Prakasam District which is relatively backward when compared to other districts in the State.
This will lead to employment generation for skilled youth, give a boost to the economy and will transform the landscape of the region, the CM noted.
He was addressing a large gathering after unveiling the pylon of Ramayapatnam Port at Ravur Village in Prakasam district on Wednesday.
At the same time, the Asia Pulp and Paper, world largest manufacturer of pulp and paper products, signed an MoU with AP Economic Develop-ment Board (APEDB) to set up the world’s biggest paper unit in Ravur village with Rs 24,000 crore.
